According to latest rumors, Pegatron Technology (Taiwanese notebook maker) is working closely with HTC to make another HTC tablet. The complete detailed list of the specification is not clear, however according to sources the new HTC tablet will include the following features:

  • NVIDIA’s dual-core Tegra 2 processor
  • Multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels
  • 32GB SSD, 2GB of memory
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS

These are just some of the features that have been reported for the new HTC tablet. However putting a price tag to such a device would be primitive, but according to our sources the device might be around $700-800. These are just speculations, but there have been consistent reports of a project undertaken by HTC to enter the tablet market. The tablet may be scheduled for release by 2011.

HTC has proven to be a greater revenue generator, especially when it comes smartphone devices like HTC Evo and Desire. Currently HTC is seeking to expand its market further through introducing other new products besides smartphones.
