Outlook.com is one of the very popular web-based, free e-mail services available. Most users who have operated a Hotmail account have readily upgraded to outlook.com as a natural progression. As Outlook.com allows you flexibility and several enhanced services, as compared to Hotmail, users have only been happy with this upgrade. However, if your upgrade wasn’t initiated by you – it was an automatic upgrade – or if you are facing issues with the web-based service, you may desperately want to revert this. Well, here we are with the changes in a step-wise description as mentioned below. To know how you can do it right away, simply read on…
The easy step solution to the above issue is as:
- Open a Web Browser on your computer.
- Go to“www.outlook.com”and login to your Outlook account.
- Click on the“Gear”icon on the top right corner of the window and then select“Switch back to Hotmail”from the list.
- It will switch your E-mail address back from “Outlook.com to Hotmail”.
Although you may have rolled back the change successfully, it is worth mentioning here that since outlook.com is web-based, it offers a user better functionalities and flexibility and therefore is a better option any way. So, if at a later stage you wish to enable this switch once again, you can conveniently do it by visiting your Hotmail account and upgrading it from there.
