1.       Check the date and time settings: Sometimes there is a problem playing a video if the date and time set on the device are incorrect. If that’s not the case, then move to the next step.

2.       Restart the device

a.       Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the red slider appears

b.      Drag the slider to turn off your device completely

c.       After 10 seconds, press the Sleep/Wake button to turn your device on, once more

d.      Once the device powers on, try Hulu once more.

3.       Reinstall Hulu app

a.       From the main menu, touch and hold the Hulu app on the Home Screen until it shakes

b.      Tap the X icon on the top left corner of the Hulu icon and then tap to Delete. Once the app has deleted, press the Home button to stop the shaking.

c.       Enter the App Store and search for ‘Hulu’ and select to download the app again

d.      After successful installation, tap the Hulu icon to start the app again

e.       Login to your Hulu account with your credentials and check if the error is fixed.

4.       Test your internet connection

a.       First, go to and check if you are able to access the webpage easily

b.      If the browser is unable to open the webpage then you are not connected to the internet.

c.       Troubleshoot to check for internet connection stability and then try to access Hulu once more.
