Samsung 15.6" R580 Multimedia Notebook Launched

Samsung has a new addition to their notebook section. Samsung has launched a new notebook R80 along with the R480 an R780. The R80 is a first Corei5 machine as it has a Intel Core i5-430M processor 2.27GHz with 1066MHz FSB and 3MB Cache.

The Samsung R80 has a 15.6 inch LCD display with resolution of 1366×768 pixels along with the LED backlight while the R480 has 14 inch and R780 has 17.3 inch display. The R80 comes with 4GB of DDR3 RAM with 1066MHz, 500 GB hard drive from Seagate that has a speed of 5400RPM. There is a NVIDIA GeForce GT 310M graphics card with 512MB to deliver the excellent picture and graphic quality.

The connectivity area has been covered with the 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, USB 2.0 x 4 and eSATA and RJ-45 (Ethernet 10/100/1000).

Samsung R80 has a Blu-ray/DVD dual-layer Optical Drive (DVD±RW/Blu-ray Disc/CD-RW) that can be used to play DVD, CD and blu-ray discs. Webcam is a 1.3 magapixel that can be used in VGA and HDMI quality. There is a 34mm Express Card Slot with SD/ MMC/ SDHC Multi Card Reader.

The stunning Samsung R80 has Headphone and Mic input jacks, stereo speakers for the sound output and a Gesture-Enabled Multi Touch Trackpad.

This amazing Coeri5 machine has a removable 6 cell Li-ion battery and weighs 5.7 pounds along with the 6 cell battery installed. At 5.7 pounds the Samsung R80 has added one more quality that makes it an outstanding notebook.

Samsung Galaxy S : Another Smartphone

Samsung has confirmed that it will be launching a new I9000 Galaxy S smartphone. Loaded with Google Android OS, 4 inch super AMOLED touch screen display, 1GHz processor and a 5 mega pixel camera that can record videos in 720p, Samsung Galaxy S will have to compete with the Motorola Shadow and HTC Scorpion.

Samsung u820: Set To Hit Verizon

At the CTIA Wireless in Las Vegas, Samsung has revealed its touchscreen-QWERTY-slider Samsung u820. The stylish Samsung u820 has 3-inch WQVGA display, 3.2-megapixel camera that can take both photos and videos, side-sliding QWERTY keyboard, standard 3.5mm headset jack, full HTML browser, Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) Exchange support and a microSD memory card slot. The Samsung u820 will hit Verizon’s offering on 30thApril.
