Samsung Galaxy SIII has already got loads of compliments in the market. And if  latest rumors are to be believed, the device may get the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade by the year end. At present Samsung Galaxy SIII comes equipped with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean was lately revealed at the Google I/O event in San Francisco. It boasts of a number of updates than Android Ice Cream Sandwich, including Google Now, improved user interface thanks to Project Butter, and a Siri-style voice assistant app. The basic prerequisites required to get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade include a display screen of 1280×720 resolution along with a Quad-core processor.

However, Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is expected to be released in the second quarter of 2012.
