PepsiCo has launched a game app for Android and iOS users — Brisksaber. This release is a promotional drive for Brisk, its iced tea-flavored soft drink, that is manufactured by Lipton under a collaboration. The app has been developed by Mekanism, a creative firm that develops viral campaigns, commercials etc. to raise the brand loyalty. It is a simulation app based on the upcoming flick Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace in 3D (slated for release on February 2012). You have the option to choose between the righteous (the light) and the evil (the dark).

You can start your gaming adventure as Yoda, the famous Jedi master or as one of the Sith, both from the earlier Star Wars series. When you play the game, your finger becomes the powerful lightsaber that you would have to use to slaughter enemies like Darth Maul and Mace Windu. Brisksaber has impressive graphics, nice sound schemes, and a challenging gameplay. It has many other characters from the Star Wars episodes such as R2–D2, Battle Droids, jar Jar Binx, and Jabba the Hutt. Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader (also known as Anakin Skywalker), the famous protagonists, also feature in the game. The game requires Internet access while you play it on your Android or iOS device. PepsiCo has launched similar promotions in the past as well like twofold points (double XP) for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 players who bought Mountain Dew. You can download the game from iTunes Store or the Android Market.
