MetroPCS, the renowned communications and telephone services providing corporation launched LG Esteem MS910, the 4G LTE enabled handset last year. Also known as LG Bryce, the smartphone comprises Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread with 1GHz processor and 5 MP camera.

The latest news is that all-in-one root and custom recovery feature is now available for this LG Esteem MS910, 4G LTE smartphone. The rooting methods and ways to install a custom recovery were seemingly impossible on this smartphone. The Androidforums.com ROM developer PlayfulGod has apparently released AIO root tool that helps doing same. RaidZero, Zergrush and Koush have also helped in the recovery and root method.

So, now if you are planning to upgrade the OS of your LG Esteem MS910 to Android 4.0 ICS, you can get it rooted since waiting for an official update can be a pain. Recovery tools are great; however, these might have various issues which can cause some glitches such as USB Mass Storage not working on both the recoveries and CWM recovery not getting wiped manually. RZR boot will not wipe and mount manually. Both the versions viz – Koush’s recovery and RaidZero’s will be used on Linux and Windows. These are not compatible with Mac.

The installation process involves following steps:
• Downloading the zip
• Changing the zip into Internet connection Mode
• Phone connected to PC using USB cable
• Running the installation script

Read the details prior to downloading and installing the custom recovery feature. For more information, you can head to AndroidForums.com thread and get started.
