Google has again made up his mind to go head-to-head with Facebook. According to reports, the search engine company is working on a third-party commenting platform that will directly compete with Facebook’s commenting system. The company is planning to integrate this commenting system into its different services and offerings, especially Google+.

The platform will enable the comments made by users on external websites to appear on Google+, as well as Google search results. The commenting system may prove to be a good alternative for those publishers who are already using Facebook’s commenting platform. The project actually came into light at a Google event held in Saudi Arabia earlier this week.

For now, nothing can be said about the success and failure of this new third-party commenting platform from Google, but the move will definitely help Google+ to get the much-desired attention of users around the globe.
