Harris interactive, a global leader in custom market research made public the appointment of its new Vice President of Global Accounts & Business development, Mr. Berkeley Scott. By taking up this role, Mr. Scott will have the responsibility of developing the business development strategy for Harris Interactive in North America. Part of this responsibility includes, leveraging Harris solutions, proprietary methodologies, industrial expertise and other responsibilities to help in growing its customer base.
On a global point of view, he will work closely with the heads of Asia, Europe and Canada to create and manage its global accounts. The purpose of this is to enable Harris to better serve its multinational clients on a sound global basis.

Ø The government communication systems and broadcast communications, RF Communications.
Ø The communications systems segment which includes defense programs, civil programs and IT services businesses.

In April 2009, Harris purchased Crucial Security Inc. This is a privately owned provider of engineering solutions that address both offensive and defensive security challenges in IT for Federal and other Government agencies.
In May of the same year, the company acquired Tyco Electronics which is an established provider of wireless communications for law enforcement, fire and rescue, public service and transportation markets.
Still in its string of acquisitions, Harris acquired the Air traffic Control business unit of SolaCom Technologies Inc. SolaCom is a privately owned company which has its headquarters in Quebec Canada.
As the Senior Vice President of Financial services at TNS (Transcutenous Neurol Stimulation) – Kantar, he joins Harris Inc to take the position of V.P of Global Accounts & Business development. At TNS, he was active in the creation and growth of a new financial services segment P&L line of business in North America.
Berkeley brings in more that 15 years of experience in business research in more senior sales and operational roles. Berkeley held various senior roles as the Director of Financial Services and an Economist at J.D Power Asia Pacific.
Berkeley completed his MBA from McGill university of Montreal and now he is is in the advisory board of MBA program of McGill university.
