  • Improve your search results, especially when you are searching for restore files or even folders for a particular user account, by adding its location of the specific file or folder within the search.
  • Wild characters like *.jpg can also help you to search all the JPG files which were stored in the back up.

 

 

Restoring backup data created from an another computer

Follow the procedure mentioned below, in case you want to restore files from the back up taken from another computer which also runs on Windows 7 or Windows Vista.

1. Click the Start button and then enter into the Control Panel. Now click on System and Maintenance option. Click into the Backup and Restore option.

2. Here, Click the Select another Backup to restore files from option. Now follow the particular steps mentioned in the wizard. In case you are asked to verify the administrator password or other confirmations, simply enter the particular details.

Restore files from the backup created from another computer

Restoring particular files from the complete backup created from another computer is also possible. Well, these files will be stored in a folder named by the username which was originally used for creating the backup

.1. Click the Start button and then click on Computer.

2. Now double click onto the icon for the particular drive in which the files are stored.

3. Hereby, double click onto the Users Folder.You will come across the folder named for every user account.

4. Again Double click onto the particular folder for the given username for which the backup was created.
