How to Open Networking Troubleshooters

The computer has its life span. It gets tired just like human. It also encounter different and lots of problems when it comes to its functionality. When a computer has a problem, its ability to function well is distorted.

One of the problems that a computer may experience is the troubleshooting connection problem. This could be a tricky computer predicament for such reason that it has many probable causes. Troubleshooters are the one responsible for fixing troubleshooting problems.

Networking troubleshooters can be used as to fixing the problems that a computer experiencing in relation to connection to other computers on a certain network or to the Internet.

Focus on general troubleshooter. In general, if a person wants to diagnose his/her computer and solve the problem, he/she can run first the Network troubleshooter by:

•    In the notification area, right click the Network icon
•    Open the Network troubleshooter
•    Click Troubleshoot problems

Focus on a certain troubleshooter. In specific, a person may choose this option if he/she wants to solve a particular connectivity or network problem by using and running certain troubleshooters. These troubleshooters include Internet Connections, Network Adapter, Incoming Connections, and Shared Folders troubleshooters.

Internet Connections troubleshooter is used to fix the problem related to the Internet connectivity like unable to connect to the Internet and cannot access or open a particular website. This might be due to network adapters which are not working properly or a unique IP address might not be present in the person’s computer. In fixing this problem:

•    Click Start button
•    Click Control Panel
•    Type troubleshooter in the search box provided
•    Then click Troubleshooting
•    Click Connect to the Internet which is under the Network and Internet

Network Adapter troubleshooter is used to fix problems in the person’s computer network adapter which in result to inability to connect to a computer on the home network or on the corporate network. The network adapter may need to be reset or to be updated. In amending this problem:

•    Click Start button
•    Click Control Panel
•    Type troubleshooter in the search box provided
•    Click Troubleshooting then View All
•    Click Network Adapter

Incoming Connections troubleshooter is used to fix problems in relation to the computer’s Windows Firewall which results to having connection problem remotely from another computer to the person’s computer. To fix this problem:

•    Click Start button
•    Click Control Panel
•    Type troubleshooter in the search box provided
•    Click Troubleshooting then View All
•    Click Incoming Connections

Shared Folders troubleshooter is used to fix problems related to the network security settings or to folder path provided. In result, other users’ cannot able to connect to specific folders on the person’s computer on a network. To amend this problem:

•    Click Start button
•    Click Control Panel
•    Type troubleshooter in the search box provided
•    Then click Troubleshooting
•    Click Access shared files and folders on other computers which is under the Network and Internet
