System security is one of the most annoying and undesirable application available on the system, as it is a fake antivirus program. It will scan the system then tell you that some malwares or viruses are present in your system and tell you to download an application from internet. The main problem is that it always gives wrong information and always produces annoying pop-ups. If you want to stop this application from running then you have to uninstall it completely and delete all the files related to it.

Now to stop it completely just follows the instructions given below.

Step1: you can use Windows system restore tool

To use this utility, restart the system. Now repeatedly press F8 to log on in the safe mode. When you press F8, you will see a black screen with number of options. Use the arrow and select safe mode. Now you will think that why we are using safe mode, the reason is simple; in safe mode only Microsoft default program will be running, so it will exclude all other applications including system security. To start the system restore you just go to start menu, then select accessories, now click on the system restore. When you click on the system restore, the system restore wizard will open. You just have to follow the instruction appears on the screen, you have to select the date when the system security was not installed on your system. It will complete the restore process and when you reboot the computer, it will start in the normal mode.

Step2: you can manually remove the virus

The first step in this process is to turn off the system restore application. To perform this process: just go to start then click on the all programs. Then accessories and finally system restore. Go to system restore wizard and click on the system restore settings. In the settings just click on the check box which reads turn off system restore. Now the second step is to stop the system security process. To stop this: right click on the windows taskbar, then select Task manager, now select the processes tab. Now in the processes, you have to locate the system security and select it. After selecting click on the end process tab. Now it will end the process. Now it’s time to remove system security from start-up menu, click start then click on the run. Now you in the run dialogue box type msconfig. Now select the start-up tab, and you have to locate the following path c:/programs files/system security in the command mode. Now to delete the entire related file to system security you just have to perform a search task. Locate all the files and folders related to it and delete. After finishing the task, just restart the system.

Step3: Now clean the registry

You can delete the entire registry by using any spyware tool. Just run the tool, before launching the application, turn on the system restore application. You can also remove the registry manually by typing some key in the command mode, but using the software is more convenient.
