If you are using Windows Phone 7 and you would like to set up an email account on your phone like Outlook and Google, then you can also access the calendar associated with that account.  In order to create an appointment in the calendar, please follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1:

Start your phone and press Calendar icon.

Step 2:

Now press in the Subject box and type a Subject, then press in the Location box and type a Location

Step 3:

If you want to change the date or time of the appointment then go to under When and press in the appropriate edit box, now flick the month, day, year or time up or down and then press Done.

Step 4:

If you want to change when you will be reminded of the appointment press More details and press the Reminder box and then choose how far in advance you want to be reminded of the appointment.

Step 5:

You can make your appointment a recurring meeting just press the Occurs box and then choose an option, you can change your status press the status box and then choose a status.

Step 6:

To add other attendees besides yourself press Add someone and then under Required or Optional press Add someone, press a contact then press the email address you’d like the meeting request to be sent to and then press Done.

Step 7:

To make the appointment private select Private and to add notes press the Notes box and then you can enter any additional information.

Step 8:

Now press save button to save the appointment in your calendar and send meeting requests to any attendees.

If you would like to delete or making any changes to the appointments, please follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1:

Start your phone and press calendar

Step 2:

Now press the appointment you want to change or delete and then press Edit, now you can change any of the appointment details as desired and then press Save.

Step 3:

If you want to delete an appointment from your calendar then press Delete and then press Delete again if the appointment is a recurring appointment now press One If you want to delete only the current appointment or All to delete all of the appointment.

If you would like to respond to a meeting request, please follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1:

Start your phone and press calendar, now press an appointment that you have not yet responded to the coloured bar will not be filled in and then see who else as been invited and flick left to Attendees.

Step 2:

You can accept the meeting request, for that press Accept if you would like to send a comment with your response now enter your note and press Send.

Step 3:

To decline the meeting request and press Decline, if you would like to send a comment with your response then you can enter your note and press Send.

Step 4:

If you want to propose a new time press Respond and then press Propose New Time then enter a new time now press Done and after that press Send.

Step 5:

You can tentatively accept the meeting request and press More, and then press Tentative, if you would like to send a comment with your response then enter your note and press Send.

Step 6:

To change the details of the meeting you can press More then press Edit and you can change any details as desired and then press Save.
