Its not just the recession which has dampened spirits of the business on the Internet, but the growth of social networking has left companies like Microsoft, Google and Yahoo thinking on new strategies through which they can enhance web presence.

According to recent reports Google had 66.3 percent of market share, whereas Microsoft’s Bing had 11.2 percent.

Challenging Google’s dominance on the web has been one of Microsoft’s main priority, as a result Microsoft has teamed up with Yahoo which integrates the search facilities of Bing and Yahoo.

Google’s market share have fallen to $583.55, whereas Microsoft shares fell to$25.57.
