Microsoft launches compatible Windows 7 software

There are different operating systems launched by Microsoft which include Windows 98, Windows XP, Vista and most recently Windows 7. Windows 7 is an extension of XP and Vista and most of the desktop and laptop makers are using this as operating system. To run Windows 7 you will have to install compatible drivers, application and other software. Unlike Windows Vista, Windows 7 is intended to focus on the compatibility of the application which Windows vista was not supporting. Bill Gates told reporters that Windows 7 will be more user-centric and user friendly.

Windows 7 has a number of new features, such as advances in touch and handwriting recognition, support for virtual hard disks, improved performance on multi-core processors. There are lot more new features like improved boot performance, DirectAccess, and kernel improvements. If we talk about graphics card the Windows 7 is perfect and it supports different graphics card from different vendors. You can add so many icons, display, calendars, and a gadget for Windows Media center. It can also support various other new applications and features like RAW image formats. These are not supported by previous windows.
