Acer is going to launch its new range of x74 laptops. The x74 range will comprise of Acer Aspire 14 inch laptop, Acer Aspire 15.6 inch laptop and Acer Aspire 17.3 inch laptop. Acer has used HM55 Express Chipset Mobile Intel processors and the latest Intel Core i7, i5 and i3 in its new x74 range of laptops.

Acer Aspire 5741 has a 15.6 inch HD Cine Crystal display that can support maximum resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels while Acer Aspire 7741 has a 17 inch HD Cine Crystal display that can support maximum resolution of 1600×900 pixels. Both the laptops come with Intel Core i5 processor that can support 3 MB of cache and Mobile Intel Express HM55 chipset and can deliver outstanding performance. Acer Aspire 5741 and Acer Aspire 7741 have 4GB of DDR3 RAM and can support maximum up to 8GB of RAM and can support hard drive from 160 GB to 640 GB.

Acer Aspire 5741 and Acer Aspire 7741 have an integrated Intel 5741 that delivers a good video output and for audio output, Acer Aspire 5741 has 2 stereo speakers set while Acer Aspire 7741 has 2 speakers with 3D sonic technology. Both the notebooks, Acer Aspire 5741 and Acer Aspire 7741 have 4X Blu-ray Disc / DVD-Super Multi double-layer, multi format memory card reader, Secure Digital (SD), MultiMediaCard (MMC), Memory Stick (MS), Memory Stick PRO (MS PRO), xD-Picture Card (xD) along with the WLAN Acer InviLink Nplify 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi CERTIFIED, Acer InviLink 802.11b / g Wi-Fi CERTIFIED Acer SignalUp technology, WPAN Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, Gigabit Ethernet LAN-enabled Wake-on-LAN.

Equipped with 6 cell Li-Ion battery, Acer Aspire 5741 weighs 2.6 kg while Acer Aspire weighs 3.3 kg. Both the notebooks, Acer Aspire 5741 and Acer Aspire 7741 will come with Windows 7 Operating System. With starting price of £499, Acer Aspire will be available from mid April.
