Dell has added one more laptop to its range Alienware gaming laptops. This time it is Alienware M11x, the system has 11.6 inches display that has resolution of 1366×728 pixels. Alienware has 1.3GHz Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor (1.73GHz) along with the 4GB DDR3 RAM (800MHz). For graphics there is Nvidia’s 1GB GeForce GT 335M graphics card. When it comes to storage, Alienware has 500GB SATAII 7,200RPM hard drive. Customer can customize Alienware M11x by extending RAM up to 8GB and a 256GBSSD.

The body of Alienware is plastic but it makes it sturdy. With the flat keys, keyboard of the Alienware M11x is comfortable. There is a LED beneath the keyboard and above the keyboard with the Alienware logo. Beside the keyboard there is an amply sized trackpad that is pleasantly textured and very easy to use.

The 11.6 inch display has a resolution of 1366X728 pixels and is very sharp. The colors are not that good and in bright light it is difficult for the user to get things right. The glossy finish of the body adds frustration to the user.

The Alienware M11x has VGA and HDMI port that can be used to connect the gaming machine to an external display to get the ultimate gaming experience. There are three USB 2.0 ports, two audio connector, one 3-in-1 media card reader along with one microphone input. There is no Express Card, eSATA and an Optical Drive is also missing. The absence of an optical drive limits the user to play games from CD.

The speaker is a 5.1 speaker set that provides a decent audio output, the sound quality of output is good. Dell Alienware has a battery life of 8.5 hours that is again an advantage to such a good gaming laptop.
