With an ever bloody battle awaiting your turn, summon the warrior in you with this another epic release in the series

The latest Mortal Kombat game (also called Mortal Kombat 9 or Mortal Kombat 2011) is more fierce and challenging than ever. It has been developed for PlayStation 3 and XBOX 360 gaming consoles.

This ninth title in the 19-year-old game series is a combination of occurrences from the first three games with a twist. There are 16 chapters in the story mode and you can play with one specific character in each one. The game unfolds from the end of the previous sequel Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, in which the sinister Shao Kahn had superseded over all Realms as the ultimate ruler. Thunder God Raiden at the verge of defeat transmits a message in form of flashes of vision to his self in the past. While Shao Kahn intends to merge the Outworld and Earth Realm together to bring an end to all the life forms, the Raiden from past decides to rescue the inhabitants of the Earth Realm with the help of the Time Travel Mechanic.

There have been a number of tweaks and changes to make the graphics and gameplay much better. The combat mode is 2D while the game progresses almost in a 3D manner. Controls have been diversified to let the player have a suitable check on the situations. Some new features such as Quick Dash, Fatalities, Babalities, and the X-Ray Attacks have been introduced. You can also play the mini games incorporated in Mortal Kombat for short episodes of action and adventure. For example, Test Your Might, Test Your Sight, Test Your Strike, and Test Your Luck. The Challenge Tower mode gives you a mission to get through 300 levels in a row.

The fights are more violent and this version has more gore all around when compared to the previous versions. If you are raging to rip apart some evil heads, visit the official website for download details.
