If you are a MacBook fanatic and have not heard any recent updates til date, then wait till you hear how your Macbook just got better.

To start with, Apple on Tuesday announunced, that it will be upgrading the Macbook with more powerful features like improved processing speed and enhanced graphics.

The 15-inch and 17-inch models will now use Intel’s Core i5 and i7 processors. However, what may dissappoint some users, is the news that 13-inch model will still use the Intel’s Core 2 Duo processor.

According the Apples Vice president David Moody, the latest deveoplments in upgrading the Macbook comes in line with increased demand for multimedia applications in terms of entertainment, gaming, designing and much more. With the new compents of  a powerful processor and enhanced graphics card, the Apple MacBook seeks to tap into the multimedia market where users now days need to install, download music, videos and application, which need platforms with enhaced functioning.

After the much excitement about the iPad, Apple still seems to be  “mutitasking” its user requirements according to the demand expectations of its users. It is not often the IT corporates would release a new upgraded software in line with the consumer demand. However this news of MacBooks upgradation certainly will bring cheers to all.  


The 13-inch MacBook Pro will be available in two models . The first model will have a  2.4GHz processor and 250GB hard drive which will sell for  $1,199, and the second model  with a 2.66GHz processor and a 320GB hard drive  will sell at a proce of $1,499.

Similarly, the 15-inch MacBook Pro will be available in three models:  The first model will have a 2.4GHz Intel Core i5,  Nvidia GeForce GT 330M and 320GB hard drive which will be available for a price band of $1,799;  the second model will have a 2.53GHz Intel Core i5, Nvidia GeForce GT 330M and 500GB hard drive  selling at a price of $1,999; and the third model will have a 2.66GHz Intel Core i7, Nvidia GeForce GT 330M, and 500GB hard drive selling a price of $2,199.

If you are looking for more enhanced featured for your MacBook Pro notebook than 17-inch MacBook Pro which will have a  2.53 GHz Intel Core i5, Nvidia GeForce GT 330M, and 500GB hard drive wiil cost you about $2,299.
