USB is Universal Serial Bus a specification to establish communication between devices and a host controller like personal computers. A USB has effectively replaced a variety of interfaces such as serial and parallel ports. It can connect computer peripherals like mouse, keyboards, printers, digital cameras, flash drives, personal media players, network adaptors and external hard drives.

Following are steps to install an Anti-Virus on a USB

Step 1: First inset the USB flash drive into one of the USB ports on your computer, then a small prompt will appear that will show that the computer has detected a new removable device.

Step 2: Try to insert the antivirus software installation CD into the disc drive of the computer to launch the installation wizard, if you have downloaded the software then just double click the downloaded file to launch the installation wizard.

Step 3: Now read through and accept the license agreement and then click Browse when shown the installation location.

Step 4: Then a search window will appear on the screen, choose the USB flash drive and click OK. Now click Next for the installation name and select install the antivirus program then you will install onto the USB flash drive.
